KeanoRoger: Influencer Educating and Empowering the Youth

KeanoRoger, an influencer with a bright personality and unique aura such as. The social media star is from a small town on the West Coast’s shore, St Helena Bay known for its tourist attraction and fish industry. 

With a following of close to 400 000 Tiktok followers, 45 000 Instagram followers as well 40 000 Facebook followers Keano is a social media sensation well known in the West Coast region.

During the gradual rise of TikTok, Keano started off making dance videos mimicking musical greats such as Chris Brown

Keano always had a sense of humor and a number of comedic schemes up his sleeve, but he never thought that being a social media content creator would open up the door to an entirely new journey. Keano started posting Instagram reels and skits in his matric year and it started to gain attraction as he became more consistent.

Some of his early inspirations were JustJavas and South African filmmaking legend Leon Schuster. 

Fresh out of school and with his mind set on making videos full time, he placed all his eggs into one basket and decided that he was going to make social media content creation his career. 

From there on he has been flourishing and has been making huge strides in the industry.  Some of his most notable achievements include a piece about him in the Junior Huisgenoot, attending the Suidooster-fees as one of the content creators and shooting content alongside fellow content creator Zee.at.eez.
