Proteas Fired Up before the ICC T20 final

The Proteas are heading into their maiden t20 final on Saturday. They will be very confident of securing the trophy, after a convincing victory over Afghanistan and with All National Citizens behind them.

The Proteas batting order will have to deliver their best performances. One thing that counts in their favor is the experience and quality.

Even though they have not been at their best, the likes of Quinton de Kock, Aiden Makram, and Reeza Hendricks can produce the goods against any bowling attack on their day. With in-form bowlers like Tabraiz Shamsi and Marco Jansen a few scalps will definitely be taken putting India under pressure. 

India has their own specimen with the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Saryakumar Yadav all playing a vital role in India’s success over all platforms in recent years. Sharma (57) and Yadav (43) were pivotal in India’s win over England forming a partnership of 73 runs for three wickets. 

India and South Africa both have earned their place in the final, with neither team yet to lose. Both teams will try to execute their game plans in another clash of the Titans.

Although India has experience in winning the prestigious trophy after doing so in 2007, the Proteas will certainly use that as fuel and motivation to dig deep and come away with the victory at Kensington Oval Bridgetown in Barbados.

South Africans will be eager to tune into tomorrow’s final. The Proteas have done the country proud and with their hard work, guts, self-belief, and determination they can certainly get over the line.
